KBA Camp Scholarship

Each year, The KBA Fund will reward one KBA player a $2,000 full week scholarship to one of the country’s finest basketball camps. KBA will send one player each summer to IMG Academy to develop their skills on and off the basketball court. KBA players must apply for this scholarship by April 30th of each year. KBA will update this scholarship page with a link to complete your scholarship application at the first of each year. KBA will fund all expenses related to onsite camp costs only. KBA player will be responsible for all travel expenses.

Scholarship consideration will be based on the following components and voted on by a 5 person committee represented of KBA board of directors and community leaders:

1. Academic Achievement

2. Service to Others

3. Personal Background

4. Short Essay

KBA College Scholarship

Each year, the KBA fund will reward one community basketball player a $2,000 scholarship for their college tuition or expenses. This scholarship will be eligible for only high school seniors within the KBA geographical footprint. The recipient of this scholarship does not have to be a KBA player, yet does have to be an active basketball player on his high school basketball team. High School senior basketball players must apply for this scholarship by May 30th of each year. KBA will update this scholarship page with a link to complete the scholarship application at the first of each year.
